Welcome to the e-Library

NSPRI Electronic Library is a section of the main Library. It is an online special Library, because it accommodates strictly, digital information resources that are relevant to the mandate of the Institute. The electronic library is meant to provide specialized digital information resources and services on postharvest of agricultural produces to diverse clientele in postharvest management system in respective of location and time. The main library has a responsibility to acquire and organize the available information items for quick and easy accessibility. The acquisition of information materials include; print and non-print materials. However, most of the collections are developed to meet the mandate of the Institute, which is management of Postharvest of Agricultural produce, which include the following fields of study: Microbiology, Chemistry/Biochemistry and Agricultural Economics. Other reading materials that are not strictly along the mandate of the Institute are also acquired. The library comprises of the different sections which are responsible to discharge various services to our clientele. The library participates in the production of Research News, a publication of the Institute that always provides information about the research activities of the Institute. The usage of the library is open to all staff and other members of the public after they have been registered.
